A Jomtien Gay Community Promotion
This was the the first event of it's kind in Jomtien Complex
and all are to be congratulated in bringing something different to
the Gay scene in Jomtien. A small entrance charge included a
drink with Beer Chang helping with Sponsorship and food available
from several of the JGC Venues. From late afternoon to
early morning the bands and groups appeared and entertained the
crowds. The Bluesbreakers from Over the Rainbow had an early
set with some famous guests jamming along. Then the Teddy
Bears Jazz group entertained with lots of different styles and
energetic fun including Calypso. Then it was Flamenco Music to
the fore with Roberto Uno Flamenco and he stunned the crowd with his
rhythm and artistry of the Guitar. He can be seen at the
Admiral Pub in Sukhumvit 18 Bangkok or at the Plaza Athene Hotel.
The second sets by The Bluesbreakers and the Teddy Bears brought out
the dancers and it was then Isaan Show time with the Pongrang
Classic group from Kalasin with their troupe of players and dancers.
It was a fitting end to the Festival that deserved more support but
the organisers will have learnt a great deal and the next one will
be one not to miss!
