Pride day out with iCON Long Yang Club to Ayutthaya
An early morning call had 120 of us ready for
this day trip to Ayutthaya the Old Capital of Thailand just north of
Bangkok. First stop was at the ruins of a famous Royal Temple
Phra Mongkhon Bophit built in the 1400-1600 AD period. As we
walked around we were invaded by a Regiment of Army boys on a day
off. Great eye candy and decoration for the monuments.
Then we had a huge lunch by the river and later on to the Royal
Summer Palace at Bang Pa-In Palace. I wanted more time here to
explore in the golf carts which save you walking but we had to get
back to Bangkok for 5pm. An interesting and easy day out!
